If peace, contentment and joy seem outside of your grasp, and you are not being emotionally restored to keep up with what life has placed in front of you, you are likely becoming depleted. Overwhelming fatigue, discontent and a lack of motivation are just a few of the signs. We’re all living a life that’s out of balance. You must take time to stop. Stop and acknowledge what you’re experiencing and accept every feeling that arises as the full expression of who you are. Next, honor that you’ve come this far; with your basic needs met, family and friends in this with you, loving memories of those you may have had to let go of and a hope for a better tomorrow. When you sleep well, your thoughts become clearer and your emotions are less reactive; you’re also placing less strain on your hormonal system, which require both nutrients and rest. Hopefully, you’re now getting the picture that everything in your life is connected to your health, physically and emotionally. COVID, quarantine and financial concerns is enough to make even the toughest among us frustrated, irritable or angry.
